Thirty years ago, I (Chrissy) started out working for a chain salon in Southington, CT. Over the years staff came and went, but Lisa and I always seemed to remain. Owner after owner we continued to work as an amazing team keeping the place going. After managing the salon for almost 15 years under different owners. When the opportunity to become the next owner of the salon arose, I decided it was time to take the leap! On April 1, 2012 Salon Bellus was born!

Out of family, teamwork, and a love of what we do, we open everyday to welcome all of you and help you reach your best potential. Our love and compassion show in our work . There is always a warm welcome, a snack and beverage, and a comfy spot to hang out and catch up. When you walk into Salon Bellus, you are not walking into strangers, you are visiting friends!!

Salon owner, wife, and mom to twin boys! I totally understand a busy hectic schedule! I have been a stylist for 30 years. I specialize in styles for everyone, (even the kids!) roller sets (yes I said roller sets!), chic cuts and styles, corrective coloring, highlights, lowlights, perms, straightening, chemical straightening, balayage, ombres, keratin treatments and so much more!

I've been in the beauty industry for over 25 years. In the late 90s into the 2000s, I worked as a beauty instructor, stylist, and traveled doing platform work for Paul Brown hair products. My skills include Relaxers, Blowout/ Natural styling , Sew-in's , Color, Multidimensional hilites , Twist / Natural styling , Haircuts , Fantasy colors, Ponytail , Deep conditioning treatments,
I specialize in interlock hair weaving, no braid, no glue technique that works great on all textures. Clients travel from New York and Rhode Island to get this exclusive technique done!
I love to take my clients to the extreme, long to short or short to long!

I have 3 wonderful sons and one lovely daughter, as well as 5 grandsons who are the apple of my eye!

If you've been coming to Salon Bellus for a while, you might remember me. I've been in the industry for almost 20 years, cutting my teeth with Chrissy and Lisa in my early years at the old location... I specialize in barbering, and all kinds of cuts and color for anyone. I love working with people and look forward to getting to know you all again!
I have a 14 year old son who is my greatest blessing.

You know me as the voice on the phone or as the person who cashes out your services, but I do so much more! I've been with the salon on and off over the last 13 years do a great deal of administrative work and a lot of the social media and marketing.

After 30 years, Lisa has retired to care for her ailing father. We will miss her desperately and know you will, too.
Jeffrey
Entertainment Coordinator
Jeffrey is an Eastern Painted Turtle. He was found in a puddle behind the salon a couple decades ago just like the rest of the staff.
Jeff is a hard worker (turtle-ing is hard) and likes to spend his time in the water underneath the waterfall in his large tank.
